Google Desktop 預設搜尋選項

使用 Google Desktop Search 時，我希望只要搜尋電腦的內容就好，可是 GDS 的預設是搜尋網路上的資訊，舊版的 GDS 可以在偏好設定選擇，可是新版的怎麼也找不到這個設定選項，在 google 上找了好久，似乎沒有人有這樣的困擾????? 怪了，是我比較怪嗎…

不過不輕易被困境打敗的我，死馬當活馬醫，打了幾個英文關鍵字，去搜尋國外的論壇，還真的給我找到了，看來我的知音是老外，他的想法也和我一樣:

When I want to search
the web, I use one of the 3 or 4 search boxes in my web browser. When
I move my cursor out of by browser, over to the side of my desktop,
and place it in the GDS taskbar, I don't want to search the web

這就是我的心聲啊!!!!!

設定的方法很簡單，但是也很怪，按兩下 CTRL，叫出搜尋對話框，右上角有個選項按鈕，點進去裡面，可以選擇預設搜尋動作，這樣就搞定了。搞不懂 Google 的人在想什麼，明明就有一個偏好設定的頁面，結果把預設搜尋的選項移到別的地方，搞笑啊。

ZTD Lesson One – Collect

找尋一個最簡單的隨身工具，記下所有想到的、該做的、計劃、資訊…等等，不要讓這些東西留在腦袋裡，最後被遺忘。

ZTD 的作者建議使用一般的小型手寫記事本，可以隨身攜帶，又可以快速的記事，比起電腦、PDA等數位用品好用多了。

不過我個人還是偏好用我的 PDA phone，不用費心多帶一個東西在身上，手機是一定會隨身攜帶，不會忘計的東西，然而，用手寫筆記本真的比較快速好寫，還可以亂畫。
